The event brings together a global audience of civil society organisations, WHO and its Member States, patient organisations, policy-makers, public health professionals, the private sector and global donors.

World Hepatitis Summit 2022

The World Hepatitis Summit (WHS) is an innovative, large-scale, global meeting to advance the viral hepatitis agenda and provide a platform for a broad hepatitis community to take stock of progress to date, share ideas, experiences and best practice in addressing the many challenges of viral hepatitis.

World Hepatitis Summit 2017

The World Hepatitis Summit 2017 was held 1-3 November in São Paulo, Brazil. The theme was Implementing the Global Health Sector Strategy on Viral Hepatitis (GHSS): Towards the elimination of hepatitis as a public health threat and delegates from over 100 countries gathered to discuss, debate and formulate solutions to reach the elimination goal by 2030.

World Hepatitis Summit 2015

The inaugural World Hepatitis Summit took place 2-4 September 2015 in Glasgow, Scotland. The event sought to build momentum towards development of comprehensive national plans within the framework of WHO 2016-2021 viral hepatitis strategy.
