Dr Nick Walsh is a physician and public health specialist. He has worked to expand global hepatitis prevention and treatment efforts for over 20 years with a particular focus in the Asia Pacific and the Americas. He has led major elimination and control programs with the World Health Organization, the Pan American Health Organization, and the Australian Medical Assistance Team. His work spans viral hepatitis elimination, Indigenous health, and global health policy. Nick continues to work in clinical medicine and global public health and is currently an Associate Professor (Adjunct) in the Department of Planetary Health at Monash University, Australia.
