It has been my honour to be chief executive of the World Hepatitis Alliance (WHA) since 2019. Previously, I enjoyed a 25-year career in community-led public health. I began my journey in the grassroots HIV movement in London and have worked extensively to improve the health and well-being of key populations. I have also worked in the fields of non-communicable diseases, patient safety, and sexually transmitted infections. I am the former civil society representative for the global north on the steering committee of UHC2030. I hold a Master’s degree in health and social marketing.

Outside of work, I enjoy exploring Richmond Park with my doggy side-kick Bimini and travelling to Brazil to visit family and friends as well as a bit of samba dancing.
