The World Hepatitis Alliance are looking to recruit an Events and Partnership Officer!
It is an exciting time to be joining the World Hepatitis Alliance (WHA), our five-year strategy will support and accelerate efforts to eliminate viral hepatitis globally within ten years. Alongside the new strategy we have a new brand, a new website and new suite of exciting campaigns, programmes and events, including the World Hepatitis Summit.
The World Hepatitis Summit is a global conference which brings together diverse stakeholders to advance the fight to eliminate viral hepatitis by 2030. The third summit was held in June 2022 and was opened by the Director General of the World Health Organization, Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, and attracted delegates from 120 countries. Building on this success, we are now planning the next summit which will be held in Lisbon, Portugal in April 2024.
This is an exciting opportunity to help deliver this important global event. Additionally, the post holder will support WHA in the delivery of other online and in-person events and programmes.

We are looking for someone to work closely with the Senior Events and Sponsorship Coordinator and Head of Global Partnerships to ensure the World Hepatitis Summit is successfully delivered.
