Welcome to Hep Voice!

Our first issue of Hep Voice in 2026 highlights changes being accelerated in hepatitis elimination – across generations, attitudes, and the next phase necessary to reach our 2030 goal.

Through programme initiatives NOhep Mums, our project with SAAFARA in Senegal, and our role in SAFEStart+, WHA and our members are working to expand access to hepatitis B vaccination for pregnant women, helping prevent mother-to-child transmission and ensuring that babies begin life protected from this entirely preventable infection. By strengthening maternal vaccination and early protection, the global community can take a decisive step toward ending hepatitis B for future generations.

Taking place 28–30 April in Bangkok, Thailand, the World Hepatitis Summit is the leading international conference focused on the public health response to viral hepatitis and making its elimination a reality. WHS2026 will bring together people with lived experience, policymakers, healthcare professionals, civil society, researchers, and global health leaders to share experiences, explore solutions, and strengthen collaboration under an urgent theme: “Elimination for everyone, everywhere… right now!”
