HEPVOICE IS OUT NOW!

With World Hepatitis Day (WHD) right around the corner we highlight ‘Hepatitis Can’t Wait’, a new WHD campaign calling for urgent action in order to reach the targets for hepatitis elimination. We will show you the need for action on viral hepatitis and explain how you can get involved with the campaign in this edition of hepVoice.
We also look at the new World Health Organization (WHO) data highlighting the progress that has been made towards the 2030 elimination targets, as well as the World Health Assembly decission on the creation of a new global health strategy for viral hepatitis in 2022.
In this issue we are putting a spotlight on the extraordinary work of WHA member SIDC Lebanon who is finding ways to serve their community even in the COVID-19 crisis and the incredible story of Reverend Jason Crum Escalera, a Hepatitis B Foundation storyteller dedicated to sharing his story in order to raise awareness and help others living with hepatitis B.
