Welcome to Hep Voice!

In this edition of Hep Voice, we share the impact of World Hepatitis Day 2024, featuring WHA member activities and collaborative webinars with WHO across various regions. We also spotlight exciting projects in the hepatitis community, such as the Hepatitis Delta Global Landscape Survey and the Community Impact Programme.

Looking ahead, the first-ever World Hepatitis Testing Week launches in November, building on the momentum of World Hepatitis Day. This global testing drive aims to combat the global rise of hepatitis, and we encourage you to join us in raising awareness. Learn how you can get involved on page 8. 

Our Hep Voice in this issue is Gloria Yamen Sonnen-Atinge, a lawyer living with hepatitis B in Nigeria. She has empowered women in the north-eastern states of Borno and Taraba to defend their human rights.
