Officially registered in 2024, V-Life Savers Foundation is a non-profit organisation dedicated to enhancing health, medical access, and education in underserved communities, empowering individuals through innovative programs and support initiatives. They organise mass screening campaigns – community based and point of care testing has increased the accessibility particularly in remote and underserved areas. They integrate hepatitis screening into HIV, TB and antenatal care programmes to improve early detection rates.
The V-Life Savers Foundation work with health care team to raise awareness about prevention and treatment. They do media campaigns, workshops and community outreach that help reduce stigma and encourage testing and vaccination. They are involved with other civil society and advocacy groups to improve communication and education.
The V-Life Savers Foundation has developed national hepatitis strategies in line with WHO’s global health sector strategy. These plans focus on surveillance, prevention, testing, treatment and monitoring progress towards the elimination targets.
The V-Life Savers are improving hepatitis surveillance systems to track infections, treatment uptake and outcomes.
