United for children’s inter development action Uganda (UNCIDA)

United for Children‟s Inter Development Action Uganda (UNCIDA) is a not-for-profit organisation founded in 2008. They work to defend child rights, save lives, fight inequality to end poverty and injustices with particular focus on programs that contribute to the strengthening of local, protective environment, and improved social transformation and well-being in the lives of children, youth and their families through innovative partnerships and by strengthening the voice of and for the poor, marginalised and vulnerable communities. They implement high-impact and quality thematic priority areas of child protection and gender-based violence; child rights governance; health and nutrition; water, sanitation and hygiene; conflict resolution and peacebuilding; education; renewable energy; climate change adaptation and mitigation in development and emergency context. NCIDA is committed to supporting children, adolescents, youth, women in families and communities affected by disasters/Floods, armed conflicts; public health emergencies and we provide a variety of assistance through our child protection and gender; Education, Health (MNCH, ASRHR, HIV, TB, Malaria, Food, Hepatitis B) and Nutrition; Water, Sanitation and Hygiene; Conflicts and Peacebuilding; climate and energy and Innovations in western region of Uganda. They include hepatitis in their health programmes, and they do awareness creation, advocacy, capacity building of stakeholders and patients with treatment knowledge and information.
