The Sudan Family Planning Association (SFPA) was established in 1965 by pioneers in obstetrics and gynecology in response to increases in maternal, neonatal and infant mortality and morbidity. Historically registered under the Ministry of Social Welfare, it is now registered under the Sudanese Humanitarian Aid Commission. SFPA has been accredited as a Member Association of the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) since 1972 and is one of the founders of the IPPF Arab World Region. SPFA leads a locally owned, globally joined civil society movement of strong voices safeguarding SRHR that provides and enables services and champions SRHR for all especially underserved, focusing on target vulnerable groups such as young people, people living with disability, internally displaced people (IDPs), and refugees. They have partnership and close collaboration with the national AIDS control program (SNAP) Federal Ministry of Health and with National Reproductive Health Program. They also participate in all the technical groups and STIs committee.
SFPA provides:

3. IPC training + PROVISION OF IPC materials
