"Prevention is better than cure" Spreadable fatal diseases hepatitis B & C elimination project of
SF (Siddiqui foundation).
SF is working from year 2012 at its core project with two parts "Awareness & Protection". As
per WHO and Pakistan Medical Research Council feasibility there are about 30 million register
patients are carrier of hepatitis B & C in 230 million population of Pakistan. As per our practical
feasibility in free hepatitis screening camps which were held in different areas each in 100
peoples screening we have recorded about 16 to 20 people were infected with these viruses
and day by day this figure is increasing towards the red zone and as result due to liver cirrhosis,
liver cancer, death ratio which has been reached in thousands per year. It is huge threat for
Pakistan as well as for the whole world.
