Sanca pre pecen (A chance for liver) is a civic association of patients with liver disease, predominantly viral and non-alcoholic. It was officially founded in April 2009. In addition to patients, it is also an association of their family members, friends and supporters. Throughout the year, it organises interesting events for its members and the general public, associated with professional lectures by doctors and specialists – experts in health, nutrition and lifestyle. Members have the opportunity to meet regularly, consult with doctors, exchange their experiences with other patients but also socialise.
The mission of the association is to educate, support education and expand professional knowledge in the field of medicine and public health with a focus on the issue of liver diseases. Especially in relation to the rights and obligations of patients with liver diseases, as well as support and organization of other activities for members of the association and other interested parties in accordance with the mission and goals of the association. Sanca pre pecen is here for all patients with liver diseases. It educates them and creates a useful link between patient and doctor thanks to experts in the fields of hepatology, gastroenterology, infectious diseases, nutrition, and others who are helpful.
