Liver Care Society works hard to increase the public awareness of viral hepatitis. They have arranged about 39 hepatitis awareness campaign meetings and screened hepatitis B & C in more than 4000 people free of cost. They support the poor patients of hepatitis by providing anti- viral drugs free of cost. They have distributed anti-viral drug against hepatitis B among 30 patients and against hepatitis C among 8 patients free of cost. They organised events like:
Hepatitis Awareness Meeting with Rotary Club International, Hepatitis Awareness Meeting, Free Screening of Hepatitis B & C among orphans at an orphanage in the city, among barbers at a gents’ parlour, among workers and their families at the fertiliser production factory, among third gender population.
