The Knut Obere Foundation have helped in the elimination of Hepatitis B disease through various local partnerships. Most of their hepatitis B awareness campaigns and outreach were conducted while waiting for their government certificate of incorporation as an They successfully received their certificate June 2024.
The Knut Obere Foundation has been conducting tests to identify people with hepatitis B, helping them to get treatment early. They also run awareness campaigns to teach people about how hepatitis B spreads and how to prevent it.
The foundation also helps providing antiviral medications to those who have chronic hepatitis B, improving their health and reducing liver damage.
