KHANA aspires to a Cambodia that supports community ownership and empowerment, where all people have equitable access to quality HIV, tuberculosis (TB); and other health services, including NCD and HCV, and sustainable development opportunities.
KHANA is one of the active members of the Technical Working Group on Viral Hepatitis, under the leadership of Cambodian Communicable Disease Control (C-CDC). Their involvement includes providing inputs into the SOP development, support the working group in delivering the community-based VHP services in rural Cambodia. They offer demand creation activities, initial screening services, awareness raising and education in the community, referral support to services, treatment adherence support, psychosocial support, high level advocacy activity.
