They offer support for people living with hepatitis B, including emotional encouragement, peer connection, and guidance for living well.
Hep B Companion helps people to navigate the healthcare system, pointing them towards specialist hepatitis B clinics, doctors, and relevant services.
They promote patient proactivity, empowering people to take an active role in their own care — especially important as new cure therapies are on the horizon. They raise awareness among healthcare professionals, encouraging better referrals, patient-centred care, and stigma reduction.
