The Vencer Foundation is a non-profit civil association, established by its bylaws in a public deed in February 1999. The Vencer Foundation is a leading national and international organisation that advocates for and promotes public policies for the full exercise of the Human Rights of people living with HIV, developing actions for the prevention of STIs (including viral hepatitis), HIV, and AIDS, health promotion, and social transformation, enabling them to fully exercise their citizenship.
At the Vencer Foundation, they in coordination with the HIV/AIDS and STI (hepatitis) Program, they provide:
– Informational and awareness-raising activities on health issues related to HIV and sexual health, where viral hepatitis is present.
– Advocacy actions for comprehensive care for people living with HIV and prevention.
– Adherence support for people living with HIV, using a Peer Counselling strategy.
– Rapid testing for HIV, syphilis, and hepatitis B and C viruses.
– HBV vaccination campaign
– Mutual support group spaces for people living with HIV, and self-care for people
