Organización sin fines de lucro creada desde 1998 por un grupo de personas preocupadas del dramático avance de los problemas de hígado y la intención de revertirlo.
En la Fundación Mexicana para la Salud Hepática (FUNDHEPA) trabajamos en las siguientes áreas:
FUNDHEPA-EDUCA
Educar sobre las enfermedades hepáticas Crear conciencia sobre la presencia de factores de riesgo de las hepatitis
virales.
Fomentar el diagnóstico y tratamiento de Hepatitis C y formas de combatirla.
FUNDHEPA-VACUNA
Difundir la cultura de la vacunación de hepatitis A y B
Promover y facilitar programas de vacunación de hepatitis B en jóvenes de educación media superior que son en la actualidad los de mayor riesgo.
FUNDHEPA- TRASPLANTA
Apoyar con medicamentos inmunosupresores a niños trasplantados de hígado sin recursos económicos en el Hospital Infantil de México “Federico Gómez”
FUNDHEPA- ORIENTA
Responder a quienes nos consultan proporcionando información confiable, segura y actual de forma integral así como canalizar a los pacientes a diferentes centros de atención.
FUNDHEPA- INVESTIGA
Fomentar la investigación en materia de salud hepática en nuestro país.
