Drug-free and Preventive Healthcare Organization (DAPHO) was formed in 2013 as Council for Non-Violence Initiative and formally registered in June 2015. The core focus of the organisation is improved healthcare through health interventions in substance abuse, sexual reproductive health, and preventive healthcare using the human rights approach to its interventions.
Their activities include:
– Prevention (Harm Reduction services for people who use/inject drugs)
– HCV testing and Treatment services (UNITAID HCV portfolio project)
– Advocacy for scale-up of HCV services among PWID
– Hepatitis Awareness through media on prevention
– Collaboration with Government agencies for HBV vaccination
