Patient group advocacy has the power to effect real lasting change and improve the lives of millions living with viral hepatitis. We believe that strong patient advocacy is critical to increasing the number of effective comprehensive national strategies in place and civil society involvement with governments is crucial in shaping these.

The ability to engage policymakers and make change is heavily reliant on identifying the right opportunities and making best use of a range of tactics and materials to call on governments to develop strategies, adopt policies and commit to increased funding.

In order to educate and up skill patient advocates on various aspects of advocacy and the tools needed to effectively lobby for change, the World Hepatitis Alliance presents Tools For Change, a three-part webinar series taking place February – April 2016.

A number of panellists, including representatives from the World Health Organization, national governments and member organizations will convene to discuss key topics and how viewers can use them in their national activities.

This is a great opportunity to hear from leading experts about major advocacy initiatives happening across the world and how they have the potential to change millions of lives for the better.
