Applications open for new in-country programme

4 Feb 2019 Chris Wingrove

WHA are excited to announce that as part of the Find the Missing Millions campaign, we are welcoming applications from WHA members for our new in-country advocacy programme which addresses the barriers to diagnosis.

WHA will work with 5 successful applicants from different countries over a period of 18 months to take action to find the “missing millions”. This programme has been developed to support members to create and implement advocacy strategies which aim to increase diagnosis rates within their country. This is an excellent opportunity for WHA members to partner with WHA and wider stakeholders to increase their knowledge on diagnostics and develop and deliver advocacy strategies that drive change within their country.

In addition to receiving a small amount of seed funding to help initiate their activities, members will be invited to pool expertise and learn from leading experts working within the field. This will include a number of face to face meetings alongside regular chances to feedback and receive support from fellow members and other stakeholders.

Applications are open until 15 March 2019. For further information and how to apply please see here.
