An estimated 89% of people living with viral Hepatitis B and C are unaware of their condition. WHA’s campaign “Find the Missing Millions” addresses the main barriers to diagnosis in order to find these 290 million men, women and children.

To help find these missing millions, WHA is pleased to announce its In-country advocacy programme.

WHA has long recognised the unique and critical role that civil society organisations and the affected community play in diagnosing viral hepatitis. The In-country advocacy programme is part of this commitment; it will enable members from across the globe to take action to break the barriers to diagnosis.

The guidelines for the programme can be found here.
