Nominations for President
The nominations process for the next President of the Alliance (2014-2018) began on the 1st October.
Who can nominate a candidate?
Any full (voting or non-voting) member of the Alliance may nominate a person to be considered by the Executive Board as President.
How can candidates be nominated?
All member groups will be provided with a form with which to nominate someone for the role of President. The nominee must also complete a motivation form which outlines their experience and suitability for the role. The form should then be returned to the Alliance by the 31st December 2013.
Nominations must be in English.
The Executive Board will act as the selection committee for the new President.
The deadline for nominations is the 31st December. After that date, the nominations will be reviewed by Executive Board Members. After discussions and interviews, the 2014-2018 President will be selected by majority vote of the Executive Board.
The new President will be announced on the 28th February, and will begin their term on the 1st March.
If you are a member group wishing to nominate somebody for the role of President, you will have been sent a nomination form. If you haven't received your nomination form, you can request a form by contacting us.
