I was born in a beautiful mountain town on the 5th of January in 1982. I had a happy and funny childhood – I used to take care of homeless puppies, and they always somehow became my pets! After I graduated...

Today is our day

07/28/11

Today is the World Hepatitis Day.

I hope most of you got tested for hepatitis and know their condition. But today I am thinking for the people who doesn't know. Who will find out after years, when probably it will be too late. When they will start feeling weak and when they will meet the ugly face of hepatitis- the face of pain, the face of cirrhosis, the face of liver cancer and the face of the death.

It is true- people die because of hepatitis. And it is true- the health sistem is not ready to adopt so many patients- in Bulgaria are arround 500 000. HALF MILLION POTENTIAL HEPATITIS VICTIMS.

I am in this battle since 2006- these 5 years so far, are probably the most hard years in my life. Believe me, it is a real torture  keep taking pills and thinking everything is fine! But then you goes the hospital- and sees these plain, disprited faces with huge ascites stomaches and eyes full of pain, you suddenty realize that one day thiscould be you. Or someone you loves.

So, please, get tested!

Ask people around you to test themselfs and please, just today....

- think what hepatitis could do!
