Sounds familiar? You know what is it? Well, when you get to do something and every day you keep on telling to yourself “I will do it tomorrow”. And then comes the tomorrow and you repeat these words. And another month passes quickly.
So months ago I promised myself that “tomorrow” I will write a new blog. So, here I am, looong time after my last writing.
What has happened in between? Nothing special. I was at the EASL conference; there was a lot of good news for hepatitis C, nothing new for hepatitis B. Nothing new even on the horizon.
I have got PCR results and seems that the beast in me is still quiet – PCR HBV <20 IU/mL. Good news.
About other things – now I’m paying more attention to my nutrition. It means that I’m mainly consuming vegetables, fruits and white meat.
How difficult is it? Very! I’ve never been never an alcohol consumer but when I as alive (before hepatitis) I liked regular fa(s)t food what included hamburgers, French fries with mayonnaise, ect.
Even at the evening when I’m watching TV I’m nibbling dried rice or dried fruits instead of potato chips, salted sticks and similar.
Uh, difficult but it is the only way to keep my liver working.
Now I’m thinking that hepatitis is not just an illness, it is the way of life!
Other things – the summer is near, weather is getting warmer every day. It means that I will (hopefully) spend more time out there instead in front of my computer.
Until next time.
