Researcher
The Alliance is seeking a Researcher to manage a nine month project to develop, with WHO, a survey based on the four axes and 20 elements of the global hepatitis strategy, pilot it, launch it, analyse its findings and write six regional reports, one for each of the WHO regions, and one over-arching global report, all in English, to be published in autumn 2012.

In 2010, the Alliance was contracted by WHO to produce a detailed country-by-country analysis of viral hepatitis-related policies in its Member States. The ensuing report, entitled Viral Hepatitis: Global Policy was published in Spring 2010 in the run-up to the WHO Resolution on viral hepatitis (WHA63.R18). Please access http://www.worldhepatitisalliance.org/Policy/2010PolicyReport.aspx for a copy of the report.

The Resolution mandated WHO to develop a global strategy for the prevention and control of viral hepatitis. This has now been completed, although not yet published, and WHO has contracted the Alliance to survey all 194 Member States to ascertain what prevention and control strategies/interventions are currently in place.

• Collate and analyse information provided through the survey
• Present key information in six regional, and one global, accessible and accurate reports, broadly along the lines of the Viral Hepatitis: Global Policy Report.
