National Academy of Young Scientists working for promotion of science and research in the country, will distribute a small booklet entitled Hepatitis B and C, Aahm Malomaat in the schools and colleges of all provinces.

Stacey was diagnosed with hepatitis C in 2004. Until that point, she'd led an active, healthy life. Stacey received financial compensation and opted to put it to good use, launching the Happy Liver Society and Stacey House for use b...y patients and families recovering from liver transplants. On Saturday, May 7, community members were invited to show support for the Happy Liver Society at two Show and Shine events.

“Baby’s First Year” calendars for Hepatitis B vaccination

The 1,000 calendars that Kavanaugh purchases will be given to hepatitis B-infected mothers after they deliver their child, and will have stickers placed on the months indicating when their child is due for vaccinations.

Asian Pacific American Heritage Month

Nordstrom, Inc. announced that it is recognizing Asian Pacific American Heritage Month in 2011 by teaming up with Hep B Free and OCA to help raise awareness of the importance of getting tested for hepatitis B—the leading cause of liver cancer and one of the greatest health disparities facing the Asian Pacific American community.

Berkeley student noticed the lack of Hepatitis B services for low socioeconomic populations in the Oakland neighborhood. He gathered about 8 other students and started addressing this issue within the Asian and Pacific Islander (API) population in Alameda County.

Hepatitis 'B' screening exercise for the public

Mr. Asante-Kumah who is also a biomedical scientist at the Effia-Nkwanta Hospital disclosed these at a free Hepatitis 'B' screening exercise for the public as part of programmes marking International Laboratory Day. The screening exercise which was in collaboration with ROK Fm , a private radio station in Takoradi was attended by people from all walks of life in the Sekondi-Takoradi metropolis and beyond.
