That was a sound of a stone falling away from my heart.
I picked up the CT scan results. Seems that the small shadow on my liver was only a cyst. And even my Alpha-fetoprotein (tumour marker) is within its normal range.
Phew, what a relief.

Red tape (again)

I'm, still waiting for my CT scan. It is not so easy to get a schedule for CT or MR in our public health system. Well, you can get it in a day or a two in a private practice but it is very expensive and our insurance will not cover it. Lyrics from one song come to my mind, “Hoping for the best, but expecting the worst...”

While waiting I had a conversation with my friend who also has HBV but who is on a different kind ...
